Nocturnes
To shake the claustrophobia of pandemic lockdown, I did more hiking and camping than ever, making nocturnes with long exposures to accumulate ambient light. One thing I realized is that as global temperatures rise, firefly season starts earlier and lasts longer into fall. This is a tragedy for our species, but a bittersweet boon if you love to photograph fireflies.
